Collaborative Conference Room Technology

The Division of Information Technology has completed the 2018 refresh of infrastructure for conference room spaces as part of the Instructional Spaces Infrastructure Initiative (ISI)

To assist faculty and staff in the use of this new technology, a guide has been created and provided below.


Getting Started

  • Tap the screen on the Control Panel, located on the wall, to turn on the display.

Using the Desktop PC

  • Log into the desktop PC
  • On the Control Panel, tap Share located under Classroom PC
    • This will mirror your desktop to both displays

Using a Laptop (HDMI)

  • Plug proper HDMI cable into your laptop
  • On the Control Panel, tap Share

Using Webex Teams

  • Open Webex Teams 
  • In the bottom left corner, click the name of the conference room
  • Select Share Screen
  • Select the desired screen to share

Powering Down

  • To stop sharing:
    • On the Control Panel, tap Share
    • Tap Stop Sharing
  • To power down:
    • Select the room name located in the top left corner of the screen
    • Select Standby


  • Displays are not turning on
    • On the Control Panel, tap the room name located in the top left corner.
    • Tap Settings
    • Tap Restart
  • Adjusting the display volume
    • On the Control Panel, press and hold the left Volume button to decrease and the right button to increase the volume.
