What you need to do in an Emergency?

Emergencies and Urgent Care

Life-Threatening Medical Emergencies

Call 911 or use a blue light emergency box (located throughout the campus) in the case of life-threatening emergencies. You may also choose to go to a local hospital emergency room, but you will be responsible for payment for your visit there.

After-Hours Non-Emergency Care

Students may access the Nurse Advice Line after-hours by calling 910.521.6219 then press option 1, to speak directly to a nurse. This service does not make appointments or call in medication refills.

If you have a serious but non-life threatening condition, such as a laceration, fracture, fever or vomiting, you may wish to visit a local urgent care facility instead of the hospital emergency room to keep your health care costs down.
