The Hawks Nest is a vibrant gathering space where UNCP students can unwind, connect
and have fun — with bowling lanes, arcade and console gaming, billiards and plenty

in the heart of campus.
The Givens Performing Arts Center is the heart of cultural and artistic events on campus. Here, we host a diverse range
of performances from concerts and theater to dance and lectures. This vibrant venue
is where creativity and community come alive.
The James B. Chavis Student Center offers a welcoming space for you to connect, engage and thrive. Here, you'll find
a variety of programs, events and resources that support your social, cultural and
leadership growth. It’s the perfect place to build community and make the most of

The Curt and Catherine Locklear American Indian Heritage Center opened its doors in 2022. The Center provides cultural, social and academic programs
for American Indian students. It also features educational programming for non-Native
faculty, staff and students. The Center reflects our commitment to honoring and connecting
with American Indian heritage. Check it out in Historic Old Main.
