Helping Students Market their Engagement Experiences

Free QUESTION, PERSUADE, REFER (QPR) TRAINING. QPR is designed to help you recognize someone who may be considering suicide and consist of three life-saving skills.  Learn how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, know how to offer help, and how to get help and save a life. All participants will receive a QPR Certificate (3-year certification) after the session.  Participants only need to attend one session.

For college faculty and staff who want to support student well-being without sacrificing their own, GUIDE is an empathic communications training that empowers educators to conduct effective student support conversations — and to identify and engage the appropriate college services when needed. Developed by educators in collaboration with expert researchers and mental health professionals, GUIDE is a practical complement to programs focused on mental health crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

  • Implicit Bias Education:  This program offers participants an opportunity to explore how unconscious biases shape our perceptions and actions, discuss microaggressions and how they impact diverse communities, and explore tools and resources for serving as an ally and multicultural educator.  Please RSVP here.
