Print Services is located in the Auxiliary Services Building.
We need two weeks’ notice prior to printing in order to check files, proof, make or have corrections made if needed and then schedule your jobs to meet deadlines.
We know your print jobs are important to you and we want to have the time to give our full attention to each and every job. We are printing materials for many departments, often for the same events so our deadlines become crunch at those times. Seeing that you plan your print jobs early in your event planning will help us to help you have the quality prints you deserve. Keep in mind that University Communications and Marketing requires a minimum of 48 hours to review and approve content such as logo use and placement before we can print.
All Print Services correspondence should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a shared email and all print services employees have access to it. This allows us to get information even if one staff member is away from the office.
Files should be designed in the size that is required to print your piece. Files that are too small may become blurry, pixelated or distorted if enlarged to meet the requirements of the piece.
The preferred file format to print from is PDF (portable document file). Design files should be converted to PDF before submitting.
Large Format jobs often take additional communications and planning.
No matter what your print job requires are here to help you plan, so that you get what you need and expect in the end.
