UNC Pembroke students Tasia Mears and Anthony Locklear recently completed the Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program at Duke University School of Law.
UNC Pembroke and N.C. State University are expanding their 3-plus-2 engineering program to offer additional degree options for students interested in civil and environmental engineering careers.
Dr. Jamie Litty’s World Media course in the spring came with a class trip to London, England, where students visited the European headquarters of Bloomberg Television and the London offices of Concord Bicycle Music, the fifth-largest music company in the world.

Dr. Scott Hicks, director of Teaching and Learning Center and professor of English, Theatre and Foreign Languages, has been named an Engaged Faculty Scholar by North Carolina Campus Compact.
Dr. Mark Andersen, an adjunct professor in the music department at UNC Pembroke, will be performing at the Library of Congress and the Kennedy Center on August 7.
