UNCP Responsibilities

• To respond to the public safety needs of our campus students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Primarily assigned, but not limited to, the UNC-Pembroke residential halls
• Investigate crimes/violations that occurs on campus and take enforcement action when needed
• To help maintain a sense of safety for UNC-Pembroke University’s population, and security for its properties

Background

• Former Lumberton Fire Department firefighter
• Former Sergeant in Vice/Narcotics Unit at Lumberton Police Department (retired)
• Active member in local volunteer fire department and serving in the position of Fire Chief
• UNCP Police and Public Safety (since 2016)

• North Carolina State Certified Firefighter
• Basic Law Enforcement Training (Robeson Community College)
• North Carolina Advanced Law Enforcement Certification
