Virginia Locklear

Virginia Locklear has served as executive director of the Rape Crisis Center of Robeson County since May 2019.

She is a 2012 graduate of UNCP, earning a bachelor’s degree in social work and a minor in criminal justice. Since the pandemic, Locklear has organized, directed, evaluated and refined all organizational, personnel, financial and services aspects with relevant community organizations; educated the community regarding agency services and strived to increase governmental and community support for services; and ensured efficient utilization of financial and human resources. 

She has served as a resource for information, support and referral on cases and ensured daily operations continue; process bills, maintenance of facility, contract for services, policy and procedure implementation, among other responsibilities.
