  • Phone number where you can be reached this summer
  • T-shirt size (pre-shrunk adult unisex shirts)

Colorguard: Auditions for colorguard (flag and weapon) will be done via video submission.  If you are interested in joining, and for more information about what should be included in the video, please click here or contact Nick Rumbeau, colorguard director, at nmr008@bravemail.uncp.edu.

Percussion: Auditions for drumline will be done via video submission.  For more information about submitting your video, please click here or contact Dr. Joseph Van Hassel, percussion coordinator, at joseph.vanhassel@uncp.edu.

Welcome to UNCP! One of the greatest assets of a diversified and balanced band program is that it nourishes the creative spirit at the level of each player's ability and interest. All too often, while developing the mind, students neglect to cultivate their artistic growth and thereby miss an important aspect of human development. Regardless of major or ability, there is a place for you in the UNCP athletic bands.

Dr. Michael Alsop, Director of Athletic Bands

Dr. Joseph Van Hassel, Percussion Coordinator

Dr. Tim Altman, Director of Bands

Dr. Aaron Vandermeer, Department Chair
