Recreation Minor

The Recreation minor consists of 18 hours designed to prepare students for work in the field of recreation, whether through community agencies, Campus Recreation, not-for-profits, public parks and recreation departments, and commercial recreation.  Courses required for the minor provide an overview of various types of recreation and recreation settings to include therapeutic recreation, recreation for the elderly, outdoor recreation, tourism, and commercial recreation.
