Human connection can be difficult in our fast-moving times. It can be impossible to know someone’s most profound feelings, what someone’s life truly entails every day, or who someone truly is within themselves. Furthermore, the UNCP community holds a plethora of diversity, which each student experiences in various ways. This exhibition encapsulates a common link of humanity within all things and encourages connection on a deeper level with our communities and those integral within them. We, the artists, welcome you, dear reader, to Hidden Lives.
This exhibition features a wide range of media. Oil paintings, printmaking, mixed media and charcoal drawings, ceramics, and sculpture.
