Summer Camps

UNCP Summer Camps offer opportunities for fun, friendship, and exploration! See below what the University has to offer.

Please read what parents have to say about the Summer Camps at UNCP……

“I would like to thank you for the sports camp put on by your staff this summer.  My children really enjoyed it and came home every day exhausted from a full day of games.  The variety and exposure to different games kept my kids interested and give them ideas and skills to use in the future.  They even bragged about how great the lunch was every day in the cafeteria.  It was definitely worth the price and hope you will extend it to 13 year olds next year so we can come back!”

Thanks again from the Godwin family!

 Marc Godwin

Assistant Chief of Police

Entrepreneurship Camp "BIG IDEAS"

(July 17 - July 21)    Rising 10th -12th grades

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-3:30pm; Friday 8:30am-12:00pm

If you have ever envisioned being a business owner when you grow up, here is your chance!

The Entrepreneurship Summer Camp is a great opportunity to learn how to turn your “Big Ideas” in to reality.

This camp is designed for rising 10th – 12th graders that want an opportunity to be immersed in an innovation process that enables them to be entrepreneurs in the future. Campers learn that all meaningful innovations start with uncovering the needs of others. The next step is ideation and prototyping; the process of taking an idea that is in your head and turning it into something that exists in the real world. The final step is strategy; figuring out how to get your idea into the hands of the people who want it and how to create a successful business around it.
