Christine Bell, M.B.A

Christine Bell has experience in a variety of industries including health care, hospitality, banking and higher education. She has experienced working for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and government agencies. Christine has hopes that her experience will allow her to provide our students with real-life examples and scenarios which will help in the learning and understanding of management.
Christine has an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business from East Carolina University and an MBA from Coastal Carolina University. Prior to joining the faculty at UNCP, she started her career in the hospitality industry as a Catering Director and Food Service Manager with ARAMARK at Coastal Carolina University. During her MBA, Christine had an internship at Citigroup working in their International Personal Banking division developing banking products for individuals in Latin America with a net worth between $250,000 to $3,000,000. From there she transitioned back into the hospitality industry briefly before taking a job at UNC Pembroke.
Christine has been at UNC Pembroke for 12 years and during that time she has been the Associate Director of Admissions which is one of the management positions in the office prior to coming to the School of Business where she now serves as the MBA Director. She will also be starting her Ph.D. in Business Administration at UNC Greensboro in the fall.
