The first step in your journey to BraveNation is to create your MyUNCP account. Once you create an account you can:

  • Register for campus tours and other events
  • Begin receiving information via email
  • Apply for admission
  • Track your application status

How to Apply - First time college student

A complete application for admission includes:

  • Completed online application, MyUNCP 
  • English-language translation of official high school transcripts
  • TOEFL (68), IELTS (6.0), Duolingo English Test (95) and/or SAT/ACT test scores.
    • UNCP's codes are: TOEFL: 5534, SAT: 5534 and ACT: 3138
  • Proof of financial support

A complete application for admission includes:

  • Completed UNCP application, MyUNCP
  • English-language translation of official high school transcripts 
  • Certified/Official English-language translation of transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended
  • TOEFL (68), IELTS (6.0), or Duolingo English Test (95) scores.
    • UNCP's TOEFL code is 5534
  • Proof of financial support

While UNCP offers rolling admission and we encourage you to apply early for priority consideration, please take note of the following deadlines:

Nomination deadlines:

Fall term: May 1

Spring term: November 1

Application Deadlines:

Fall term: June 17

Spring term: December 1


Please Note:

**Students who do not meet UNCP's minimum English language requirement can apply to the English Language Institute (ELI) and matriculate to academic classes upon successful completion of the program. The ELI at UNCP offers intensive English language instruction, pre-academic training and cultural orientation for international students preparing to pursue higher education in the United States.**
