Located on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the iconic Old Main Building, the Museum of the Southeast American Indian offers authentic artifacts, fine arts, and hands-on experiences that will engage visitors with the vibrant cultures and rich histories of Southeastern Native peoples.

Stop by the Career Center and learn ways your student can get involved with experiential learning, like internships!
Chavis Student Center 221 3-4 p.m. Supporting Immigrant Students and Families at UNCP
Join Dr. Melanie Escue, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice, as we learn about the ins and outs of applying to and navigating college in North Carolina, identifying financial support options, and finding community on campus as an immigrant student and/or member of an immigrant family. This interactive session will showcase the stories of immigrant students and emphasize the importance of active and informed allyship. All UNCP students, parents, and families are welcome to attend the session. Light refreshments will be served.
Chavis Student Center 208 3-5 p.m. Veteran Holiday Letter Service Project
Join the Veteran Holiday Letters volunteer opportunity in the Student Center from 3-5 p.m. in the Student Center Mall! Parents, family, and UNCP students can write heartfelt letters to homeless veterans through the VA Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program to spread kindness and appreciation during the holiday season.”

Come hang out with the BraveNation Family at the ultimate tailgate bash before the Frostburg State game. Wear your black and gold and enjoy some food while connecting with fellow families. A ticket is required to attend. Tickets are $12 per person and can be when you register for Family Weekend. Students can use their meal plan to eat.

Braves Resource Center Food Drive
Bring a donation of non-perishable food items to the Braves Resource Center and help UNCP students experiencing food insecurity. Drop off donations at any Family Weekend Check-in, Friday and Saturday. Please refer to the list below of most needed items:
