About

Dr. Bryan McLeod, a United States Navy Veteran, currently serves as an assistant professor of Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.  His academic journey is quite expansive, with a B.S. in Workforce Education and Development, an MBA with a focus in Marketing, a Juris Doctor (J.D.), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing), all from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  Dr. McLeod's enthusiasm for teaching shines through in his classes on Digital Marketing, Marketing Principles, Marketing Communications, and Ethics.  He harbors a deep interest in Artificial Intelligence, constantly exploring and imparting knowledge about its applications in academia and marketing.

Before venturing into the academic world, Dr. McLeod embarked on an endeavor by founding Southern Illinois Legal Services, N.F.P., a not-for-profit law office dedicated to representing low-income clients.  In this role, he not only provided legal services but also spearheaded the firm's marketing efforts.  It was during this period that Dr. McLeod discovered his profound passion for Marketing.  This revelation prompted a career shift, leading him away from legal practice and towards the realm of academia, where he continues to inspire and educate the next generation of marketers.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his is an amateur photographer and videographer.
