The North Carolina Board of Elections has approved UNC Pembroke staff, faculty and students to use their campus identification cards for voter purposes.

This collaborative effort by UNCP’s Community and Civic Engagement, Office of General Counsel, Office of Human Resources and the Braves Card Office reinforces the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible democratic process for its campus members.

This initiative will enable UNCP faculty, staff and students to exercise their right to vote quickly and conveniently. Integrating university IDs into the voter allowance process simplifies the registration and verification procedures, making it more accessible and efficient for the campus community to participate in local, state and national elections.
