UNCP to hold Career Success Showcase

EPICS Student Showcase is set for April 29.

Ten UNC Pembroke students will compete in the inaugural ePortfolio Initiative for Career Success (EPICS) Student Showcase on Friday, April 29.

The event, organized by the Office of Online Learning, is part of the EPICS program and promotes connections between learning and career success and networking.

Students will be evaluated by experts from various industries during the virtual showcase. The top three finalists will receive a cash prize.

After an extensive review process, ten finalists were chosen to participate in this showcase. The finalists of the UNCP EPICS Student Showcase are:

  • Melanie Banks-Scrudder, Senior, Studio Art 
  • Preston Coker, Junior, Studio Art 
  • Tracy Ferry, Senior, Psychology 
  • Jodi Frost, Sophomore, Elementary Education 
  • Imani Gordon, Senior, Biology
  • Christian Mayers, Senior, Mass Communications 
  • Sabrina Sanderson-Floyd, Senior, General Studies
  • Kristen Trull, Junior, Business Administration 
  • Casey Weaver, Graduate Student, Master of Arts in Education
