The Office of Housing and Residence Life provides students with opportunities to develop skills necessary for living successfully in a community and a democratic society.

Housing and Residence Life allows students a safe, clean environment to develop independence, to assess their values, and to develop a spirit of community building.

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke provides students with numerous housing opportunities. This includes six residence halls (Belk, North, Oak, Pine, Wellons and West) and two apartments complexes (University Village Apartments and University Courtyard Apartments).

Mission Statement:  The UNCP Office of Housing and Residence Life provides a safe, diverse and well maintained environment that compliments and supports the academic mission and provides a dynamic living and learning program that promotes and inspires individuals to become empowered community members.
