The University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP) is committed to providing a variety of continuing education opportunities and special activities which contribute to the mission of the University.

Two of the overall purposes of the University are to meet the educational needs of students and serve the community and society at large by providing cultural and educational leadership.

The programs offered through the Office of Distance Education help carry out the purposes of the University.

At UNCP, programs involving continuing education, outreach and service are coordinated through the Office of Distance Education.

The UNC in Washington Advisory Committee is currently reviewing applications for the summer program. Review of applications will continue until all 3 slots are filled.

If you feel that you need to come to campus for Online Course Orientation for the fall, please set up an appointment with Terry Locklear. He can be reached through email or by telephone at (910)775-4074. Otherwise, the orientation can be completed online by following the directions located here.
