New Blackboard tools could assist faculty pedagogical goals: Along with UNCP’s upgrade to Blackboard 9.1 in the fall of 2010, DoIT also installed and introduced Wimba Classroom - a Web-based, live virtual classroom supporting multi-way audio, video, application sharing, polling, and content display.  Read more

UNCP adopts Microsoft IT Academy: The Microsoft IT Academy is an application and services suite that can help faculty, staff and students achieve their desired level of expertise with technology.  It provides programs that offer a complete package of courseware by subject, along with e-learning courses designed to meet the technology learning needs of UNCP users.  Read more

BraveCart coming soon: Powered by SciQuest: Over the last several months, DoIT has partnered with Business Services and an organization called SciQuest to implement an eProcurement application at UNCP.  Application team member Jonathan Lowery has managed DoIT’s work on this collaborative project.
