Zora Neale Hurston: An exemplar of the intersectionality of Black Womanhood, Professionalism and Artistic Talent

The life and perennial work of Zora Neal Hurston is a grand model for women of color to examine and exemplify. Her firm foundation as an HBCU graduate and sorority member served her well as she became well-known professionally and as a famous female author during the Harlem Renaissance.  Each of these three domains has resonance in the intersectionality of our own lives and can inform our individual talents and professional development as women.
