In addition, they will provide information to the campus community on additional means of protection from the risks associated with COVID-19.

Should I assess myself for COVID-19 symptoms before reporting to work?
Faculty and staff should assess personal health each day before reporting to work, whether experiencing COVID-19-like symptoms or not. You should contact your supervisor and not report to work if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms including cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell. Please follow the advice of your health care provider and public health officials if you suspect a potential COVID diagnosis and when it is safe to return to work.
What can I do each day on campus to reduce my risk of exposure to COVID-19?
To proactively minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure and spread, you are strongly encouraged to follow the Three W’s: Wearing a cloth facing covering, Wait six feet apart from others, and Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer.
How do I request refills of sanitizer, face coverings, and wipes?
Individual employees should submit requests to their department head who will submit a request for supplies via the Facilities Work Order system. Please specify what supplies are needed in the request description section and select Housekeeping as the applicable trade.
When will they sanitize my area? How often will they do this?
Routine housekeeping activities using traditional cleaning supplies are continuing daily across campus. Electrostatic spray disinfection of individual spaces within buildings is being scheduled. Department leaders, faculty, and staff will be notified prior to use of the electrostatic sprayer in individual buildings.
Do I have to wear a face covering when on campus?
Per guidance from the Chancellor, all faculty, staff, students, and visitors on the UNCP campus are required to wear a face covering when they are in any building and when outdoors within 6 feet of another person.
If the individual is alone inside their office or work space.
