Shilpa Regan is a Professor of Clinical Psychology. She has been at UNCP for 20 years. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate from Oklahoma State University and completed her internship at The University of Washington Medical Center. Her research and clinical interest investigate the relationship between multicultural factors (e.g., gender, ethnicity) and psychological principles (e.g., diagnosis of disorders, etiology and helpseeking). But, her true passion lies in teaching and interacting with her students. Several of Dr. Regan’s students have presented their research projects at local and national psychological conventions (e.g., Association for Psychological Science). Many of these students are bound for graduate programs!
