Michelle Ingram is a North Carolina native and resident of Brunswick County, NC. After graduating from Pembroke State University, she committed her professional career to one of public service.  For over two decades, Michelle has served several roles in the judicial system. Currently a project director with the State of North Carolina, she has secured grants totaling over $2 million for Drug Treatment Court.  She was also an integral part of the success of the Brunswick County Opioid Task Force as a founding member. Michelle served on the Board of Visitors for UNCP, where she chaired the inaugural board in 2018. She is also a Co-chair of the Brunswick Sheriffs Charitable Foundation, appointee of the Sunset Harbor Fire Board, and most recently elected to the Atlantic Telephone Membership Cooperation Board of Directors. Other memberships include the North Carolina Association for Court Management and National Association of Drug Court Professionals. Michelle actively volunteers in her community and is enthusiastically involved in numerous fund-raising efforts with her husband, Sheriff John Ingram. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time at the beach and golfing with her husband and son Grant.
