Dana Unger, PhD, LCMHCA, NCC is an Lecturer in the Department of Counseling. Dr. Unger earned her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University. Before attending Kent State, Dr. Unger was both an elementary and secondary school counselor in Nevada. Her research interests include school counselor identity, advocacy, and job satisfaction as well as the relationship between school counselors and administrators. Dr. Unger is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), American Counseling Association (ACA), and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES).
