About

Audra Harris is a proud North Carolina resident and UNC Pembroke Alumni. Her path in college was not a straight one. She started off at Fayetteville Technical Community College and later went to East Carolina University, then ended up at Pembroke State University that later became UNC Pembroke where she remained and earned a bachelor’s of science in Business Administration with a concentration in management. Audra went on to purse her Master’s in Business Administration at UNC Pembroke. She went on to take graduate courses in economics at University of Nebraska, University of Phoenix, Fayetteville State University, East Carolina University, and UNC Pembroke. She has been in education since 2003 were she started her faculty career at Robeson Community College. She started off in Office Administration, but taught courses in economics, computers, business, medical office and office administration. Audra remained there until 2019 when she moved to Fayetteville Technical Community College as a Full Time General Business Administration instructor were she currently teaches economic and business courses.

Audra has been an adjunct faculty member here at UNCP teaching economic courses since 2016. She has completed the World View Global Education Leader’s Program through UNC Chapel Hill, a member of the NC Community College Faculty Association, and a certified Microsoft Office 2013 Professional. To add to her success Audra has also help write a number of journals that have been published: “Service Quality Cues in Advertising A Professional Service”-Journal American Academy of Advertising";  “Content Analysis of Creative Message Strategies in Business-To-Business Versus Consumer Ads” ; “Content Analysis of Creative Message Strategies in Business-To-Business Advertisements”
