About

“As a first-generation college student myself, I know firsthand how daunting and overwhelming the task of finding the right university to attend can be! Fortunately, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke welcomed me with open arms and became my ‘home away from home.’ I got to engage with my instructors on a one-on-one basis and those connections and close relationships have continued well beyond my graduation. At UNCP I was awarded the opportunity to discover who I am, as well as who I was capable of becoming by dreaming big and reaching for the stars! As an alumna, I am proud to call UNCP my home, my university, and my workplace. No matter what you are interested in studying, or if you’re an introvert, extrovert, early bird, night owl, actor, scientist, future teacher, new freshman, transfer, non-traditional student, etc. UNCP is just the ticket for you!”
