Geography Minor

Geography Minor Checklist (updated Fall '15)

Geography is a discipline that provides a contextual view of the world. It interacts with disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and the natural sciences by providing a location-based perspective. The relationships that bind us to the landscapes we inhabit are considered broadly through a focus on human:environment interaction.

The Geography minor supports students from across campus who would like utilize the holistic perspective that Geography offers to provide a context for the information and methods from their major as they can be applied locally, regionally, and globally. If you are interested in the 18 credit hour minor, please talk to one of the Geography faculty about requirements and upcoming classes.
