Pembroke Day, one of the longest active traditions at UNC Pembroke, continues on September 27.

A large turnout of students, community members and university supporters are expected to fill the University Quad near Old Main. Activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be informational booths, food vendors, crafts, promotional giveaways, speakers and entertainment.

In case of inclement weather, Pembroke Day will be moved to October 4.

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke will host an event on October 5 commemorating the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Matthew.

The keynote speaker will be Mike Sprayberry, director of North Carolina Emergency Management. It will be held at 6 p.m. at the University Center Annex.

The event will include a roundtable discussion by a team of local and state experts.  

The public is invited to attend.

September 13, 2017 |

One of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays will open the Broadway and More Series at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Givens Performing Arts Center. The performance is one night only, Thurs. Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $26 and $21 for adults, and $5 for children and students. The show is sponsored in part by Dr. Cheryl Locklear.
