Dr. Bouquin made tremendous impact on students during his 15 years on the faculty at UNC Pembroke. He imparted his love of math to his students, making it fun and lively. He was a two-time winner of the UNCP Outstanding Teaching Award and received the UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2016.

A scholarship fund has been established at UNCP in Dr. Bourquin's memory to benefit deserving students.  The scholarship will ensure that future generations have the opportunity to earn their degrees and find their passion in life, just as Dr. Bourquin did.  If you would like to contribute to the fund, you can make your gift by complete this form, and returning it along with your check payable to UNCP. You can also make a gift online at https://braveweb.uncp.edu/opay/give/. Select "Other" for the Area to Apply Gift, and then specify "Bourquin Scholarship Fund."
