In her eleventh year in the UNCP Department of Biology, Prof. Meg Zets has won another Excellence in Teaching Award (2018-2019) from the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.  Incredibly, this is the eighth time she has received this honor!

Prof. Zets has taught numerous sections of the Principles of Biology and the Exploring Life's Diversity courses for undergraduate students, and her passionate and innovative teaching style, command of subject, pearls of wisdom, and lessons for shaping successful study skills have earned her the respect and admiration of students.   Moreover, Prof. Zets, who is Safe Zone certified, has a hand in mentoring students and steering them into valuable career paths.
