Graduate candidates present during NC Reading Conference

Eight graduate students in the Master of Arts in Reading Education program presented at the North Carolina Reading Conference in Raleigh March 31-April 2.

The title of their more than three-hour institute was “The 411 on Vocabulary - Tips and Tricks.”

The graduate student presenters were: Madison Rzatkiewicz, K-5 Academic Coach, Scotland County Schools; Margaret Gardner, 7th grade, Robeson County Schools; Katy Haywood, 1st grade, Scotland County Schools; Tasha Oldham, 2nd grade, Hoke County Schools; Nivea Mitchell, 1stgrade, Robeson County Schools; Brandi Bullard, 1st grade, Robeson County Schools; Patricia Stacy, 7th grade ELA, Robeson County Schools; Parenthia Gilchrist, Robeson County Schools.
