More than 100 high school students from across the region performed at the 13^th annual Honor Choir hosted by UNC Pembroke’s Department of Music.

Pembroke Singers and the University Chorale also performed. This year’s honor choir consisted of students from 17 high schools including Charles B. Aycock, Purnell Swett, Fairmont, Scotland, Green Central, Seventy-First, Hoke, South View, Lumberton, Terry Sanford, Midway, Trinity, North Brunswick, Triton, The O’Neal School, Wallace Rose Hill and Westover.

Dr. Shannon Jeffreys, associate professor and director of Choral Activities at Georgia Southern University, served as clinician for this year’s honor choir.
