Sigma Tau Delta hosted a creative writing workshop on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 4:00-5:00 PM  in Dial 123 for interested students.

Members of the English honors society as well as non-members attended, and students responded to various writing prompts in their preferred medium.

Dr. Laura Hakala, the Sigma Tau Delta sponsor, said the workshop was well attended and that students were excited to have an opportunity to write creatively. She noted,  “Students expressed that they don’t have time in their schedules for creative writing, and this workshop helped prioritize that for them.”

There are plans for future workshops, which will be announced in on-campus fliers as well as in BraveConnect and the Sigma Tau Delta Instagram; all students are welcome.
