Two UNCP alumni, Lieutenant James Obershea 02' and Sergeant Damien Mclean 01' of the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, took time out of their schedules to speak with Rudy Locklear's Criminology class. The detectives covered their roles in crime statistics and the Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), their investigations of homicides (murder and non-negligent manslaughter), rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and arson, classified as property crime. The detectives also covered National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).
