Assistant Director of Annual Giving

The Assistant Director of Annual Giving serves in a crucial role as a member of the Advancement group, working to achieve the University’s annual giving fundraising and participation goals. The Assistant Director manages all aspects of Annual Giving, including the Annual Fund, Phonathon, Faculty Staff Campaign, 24 Hour Day of Giving and other special initiatives, in addition to creating and executing a donor acquisition plan to expand UNCP’s annual giving donor base. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and executing a robust plan to increase annual giving from alumni and non-alumni constituencies, including faculty/staff, parents, athletics prospects, and others. In addition, the Assistant Director will plan, coordinate, and execute appeal programs for all annual giving segments, with special attention to our academic schools and colleges.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of experience preferred, strong analytical and data management skills required.

Assistant Director of Development for American Indian Programs

The Assistant Director of Development for American Indian Programs should be an entrepreneurial development professional who will serve as the lead fundraiser for the Museum of the Southeast American Indian, American Indian Studies department, and the future School of American Indian Studies. The Assistant Director works in partnership with the Director of the Museum of the Southeast American Indian and American Indian Studies faculty and staff in securing major gifts in support of strategic goals.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of fundraising experience required.

Assistant Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences

The Assistant Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences should be an entrepreneurial development professional who will serve as the lead fundraiser for the College of Arts & Sciences. The Assistant Director works in partnership with the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences in securing major gifts in support of the College’s strategic goals. This position is expected to develop and manage a robust prospect portfolio to meet established goals.
