The Assistant Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences should be an entrepreneurial development professional who will serve as the lead fundraiser for the College of Arts & Sciences. The Assistant Director works in partnership with the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences in securing major gifts in support of the College’s strategic goals. This position is expected to develop and manage a robust prospect portfolio to meet established goals.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of fundraising experience required.
The Braves Club Coordinator works closely with Athletics and Advancement staff in the stewardship and growth of UNCP Athletics' booster club--The Braves Club. This position will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward Braves Club donors in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Athletic Development. The Coordinator provides oversight of the Braves Club Board of Directors, manages benefit level fulfillment and distribution for all current Braves Club members, manages athletic season ticket outreach and solicitation for football and basketball, and assists in the planning of special/hospitality events around major university and athletics events.
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
