Four-Year National Scholarship:
Four-year scholarships are available to high school seniors only (Soldiers see Green to Gold). Scholarships are available for up to $17,000 a year to qualified applicants. Cadet Command must receive the application by July 15th for Early Decision and November 15th for Regular Decision. Applications are available from your high school guidance counselors, by calling 1-800-USA-ROTC (872-7682), or by visiting the Cadet Command web site by clicking here.
On Campus Scholarships:
On Campus scholarships are available for 2 and 3 years for up to $17,000 per year to qualified applicants. The application window opens December 1st and closes in early March. It is important that you notify the ROTC department at your university as soon as possible to increase your chances of completing the application on time. Applications are available by calling 1-800-334-4111 ext. 1590.
Three-Year Scholarship Criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be between the ages of 17 and 26
- Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
- Meet physical standards
- Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)

Two-Year Scholarship Criteria:

- Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50

PMS Incentive Scholarships:
Professor of Military Science (PMS) Incentive Scholarships are the same as the On Campus Scholarships but are controlled by the PMS at each school. Each PMS recommends two 2-year and two 3-year scholarships to the most qualified applicants. Traditionally, these scholarships are recommended to the applicants with the most leadership promise.
General Eligibility Criteria:
- Be under 31 years of age on 31 December of the year you are commissioned and receive a baccalaureate degree.
- Waiver for non-scholarship cadets can be granted to age 35 (at commissioning/baccalaureate degree).
- Have no moral obligation against performing military duties.
- Have no more than three dependents (including spouse) unless a waiver is granted by Headquarters Cadet Command. A single parent requires a waiver.
