Universidad Anáhuac México is a private and catholic university founded in 1964 in México City. According to the QS World University Ranking, it is one of the three best universities in Mexico. Its mission is to contribute to people’s integral formation through an excellent and innovative academic and cultural preparation. Anáhuac University has two campuses in Mexico City: North and South. Mexico City is the capital city of Mexico and one of the most important political, cultural, educational, and financial centers in the Americas. Mexico's capital is both the oldest capital city in the Americas and one of two founded by Native Americans, the other being Quito, Ecuador. The city was originally built on an island of Lake Texcoco by the Aztecs in 1325.
It's also the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world, where the New York Times classified it as "the metropolis that has it all". Mexico City is a cosmopolitan city, ideal for encounters with the historical past and a destination that offers rich opportunities for any student.
