  • Held panel discussion on disability misconceptions.
  • Held annual Christmas Party.
  • Hosted face painting table at local fly-in.
  • Participated in annual Pembroke Day.
  • Held 1st annual officers’ retreat.
  • Held 1st annual Awards Banquet.

2004-2005 academic year:

  • Participated in a transition program for incoming freshmen with disabilities.
  • Introduced and met Sean Stephenson.

  • Invited the UNCP Attorney, UNCP Architect, and Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs to a DSO meeting to present information about campus accessibility.
  • Drafted letters to University, DOT and Legislators regarding safety/accessibility concerns on and off campus.

  • Sponsored a Disability Awareness table.
  • Invited UCIS staff to a DSO meeting to address campus computer accessibility issues.
  • Invited UNCP's Study Abroad Coordinator to encourage study abroad for students with disabilities.
  • Hosted a bake sale fundraiser for Spring Retreat.
  • Invited SGA President/Vice President candidates to a DSO meeting to discuss accessibility and safety issues in and around campus.

  • Attended an Easter Egg hunt sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Pembroke.

2006-2007 academic year:

  • Participated in a transition program for incoming freshmen with disabilities.
  • Established a scholarship committee to develop an application and eligibility requirements for a scholarship for students with disabilities attending UNCP.
  • Participated in Pembroke Day.
  • Partnered with the Student Government Association to establish an adhoc committee within student government to address safety concerns among the disabled community.
  • Sold concessions at GPAC events. Fifty percent (50%) of profits will be used for a scholarship fund.
  • Participated in VSA Festival.
  • Held annual holiday social and retreat.
  • Participated in homecoming activities.
  • Established a scholarship for students with disabilities.
  • Sponsored movie night.
  • Hosted an Easter basket fund raiser.
  • Worked with SGA's Student Issues Committee to address campus concerns.

  • Sold GPAC concessions to raise money for the Braves Disabled Student Endowed Scholarship.
  • Held annual holiday retreat.
  • Sponsored Valentine's Day fundraiser.
  • Participated in Relay for Life.
  • Held fourth annual awards banquet.
