Come out to the Hawks Nest recreation center and enjoy fun filled games and exciting activities. The Hawks Nest is located on the first floor of the Student Center. Take advantage of our eight (8) bowling lanes, five (5) billiards tables, and competitive foosball. You might choose to just hang out and watch your favorite sports team with friends and family. UNCP students, faculty, and staff receive priority for regular games and usage in the recreation center. Friends and visiting guests are welcome are join in the fun and games as well. The Hawks Nest may be reserved for group activities and events. Reservations must be made in advance. Select from the side menu to view group rates and pricing for various reservation options. Contact the Recreation Center Manager at 910.521.6609 to inquire about rates, availability or options for reserving your group event. Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
NORMAL OPERATIONAL HOURS
- Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 3-11 p.m.
SUMMER OPERATIONAL HOURS
- Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 5-9 p.m.

Billiards, ping pong, foosball, bowling and video gaming equipment may be rented from the check-out center inside the Hawks Nest. Individuals may supply their own equipment with the purchase of a billiards table or bowling lane fee. Self-owned gaming consoles and video games may be used in conjunction with the Hawks Nest’s HDTV’s free of charge with the verification of the user’s valid Braves ID.
