The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity (OSID) strives to create a robust and inclusive campus environment that provides a transformative intercultural experience. Consequently, OSID provides training and education that promotes: increased awareness of self and others; an understanding of and knowledge about diverse cultures, identities, and communities; and, strategies and techniques for taking action to communicate and work with diverse groups, identify and openly discuss cultural differences and issues, challenge biases and discrimination and facilitate the development of a culture that is inclusive. As a result, students will be better prepared to engage in and contribute to a diverse and interdependent global society.

- Academic and Military Outreach offers Green Zone Training that will help participants better understand ways to support military-affiliated students inside and outside of the classroom. Upon completion, participants will be able to lend a sympathetic ear and help military-affiliated students connect with the appropriate resources. Individuals who complete the training will receive a sign to display identifying them as Green Zone trained and supplemental materials they can reference after the training.
