The student emergency financial assistance application is for currently enrolled UNCP students who need financial support to assist with unexpected emergency expenses surrounding situations that create hardships. Unexpected emergency situations can include but are not limited to events such as accidents, illness, death of an immediate family member, fire damage, need for temporary housing, or other life events that could not have otherwise been planned (see Student Emergency Assistance Fund Policy).
This funding is not intended to replace or supplement existing financial aid and does not have to be repaid. Emergency funds are supported by grants and donations awarded to the university and will be awarded based on availability of funding. Please note funding provided by some grants does not allow for all types of expenses to be covered even if allowable under the policy. If you are currently receiving financial aid, please be aware that receiving funding from the Student Emergency Assistance Fund may affect your aid package.
