Being in a diverse community allows me to be exposed to different cultures and stories. And despite people not thinking about it, every single soul on this campus has a story, and they are never the same. Why Should Students join the RHA?
Students should join RHA because it allows for students to have their voices be heard. It gives students who never got the chance to make a difference in their own communities to be able to make that difference. Even though it is a Student run organization, there are a ton of different skills that can be shaped and provide practice with them, for example, Leadership, interpersonal, networking, and finally planning skills are the most prominent skills that can be strengthened while in RHA. My final reason why students should join RHA is that they are more likely to make friends and allies with their fellow RHA peers with event planning, voicing concerns, and finally… with everyday college struggles.Jaliah Singleton - Vice President of Programming Name: Jaliah Singleton
