Counseling is available to all students without session limits or cost. You can set up counseling services through our triage system. Counseling services include: orientation to counseling groups, psychotherapy groups and individual counseling. Consultation and referrals are also available.
Triage services are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. These 30-minute sessions are focused on finding the services that best meet your needs.
Advocacy services are free and confidential for any students who are survivors of, or accused of, sexual misconduct including stalking, rape, bullying, cyber stalking etc.
Crisis Services are available through the office (2nd floor, Brave Health Center) and after hours through University Police (910.521.6235) or Healthlink (follow prompts on phone: 910.521.6202).
Psychiatric Medication evaluation and maintenance are available for students with an established therapy relationship with CAPS.
Prevention Education Programs are offered throughout the year and address topics to include suicide prevention, substance use prevention, upstander intervention, stress management, mindfulness, student wellness, and mental health stigma.
