You can do your part to ensure no student goes without during these stressful times by supporting the CARE Resource Center with food or monetary donations.

  • Food donations can be dropped off at the CARE Resource Center during regular operating hours or by scheduling a donation drop-off by contacting the CARE Center staff at care@uncp.edu or 910-775-4367.
  • Provide monetary support by visiting the UNCP Give to the CARE Resource Center.  Under the Designation area, select Community and Civic Engagement--CARE Gifts. Each dollar raised will go towards purchasing more food and supplies.  After you have made your gift, consider amplifying your contribution by sharing our cause on your social media. Help us spread the message so that no one at UNC Pembroke will go without.
  • All donations are tax-deductible.

For more information on how you can support, contact Sandy Jacobs, the Director of Community and Civic Engagement at UNCP at sandy.jacobs@uncp.edu or 910.775.4598.

The Office for Community and Civic Engagement (CCE) supports the university mission to develop responsible citizenship through education opportunities that provide service to our neighboring communities. Our efforts encourage students to become active and engaged citizens while at UNC Pembroke and after graduation.  Donations and support from private donors are primarily used to support the CARE Resource Center and programs focused on helping students overcome obstacles that may prevent success and persistence towards graduation.
