Community Impact Student Award:
As a member of the North Carolina Campus Compact, UNCP presents one award annually in the fall semester to a student who has made significant, innovative contributions to campus-based efforts to address community needs. The Community Impact Student Award winner can be a sophomore, junior or senior. All nominees must be full-time students enrolled at UNCP. Graduate students are not eligible for this award. This award is presented at the annual CSNAP Student Conference.
UNCP Serve Badges
Students on UNCP Serve will be awarded badges based on the amount of approved hours tracked. Badges will appear on the user’s profile and volunteer resume. Graduating students will be presented their highest earned badge at the annual Volunteer Celebration. Below is the list of possible badges users can be awarded.
BRONZE | 10 Hours of Service
BRONZE | 25 Hours of Service
SILVER | 50 Hours of Service
SILVER | Outstanding Service: 75 Hours of Service
GOLD | Chancellor’s Challenge: 100 Hours of Service
GOLD | I Made A Difference: 250 Hours of Service
GOLD | Community Champion: 400 Hours of Service
Users can share awarded badges on social media. UNCP Serve checks nightly for qualified users for each badge. If you have questions about the UNCP Serve Badge program please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Site Leader Badge
Students that have served as a site leader at any given point during their collegiate career will be presented a site leader badge at the volunteer celebration prior to their graduation.
Change Agent Cord
Upon completion of UNV 2000 and the community-based internship, the member will have successfully completed the Change Agent Academy. Graduates of the academy will receive a UNCP Change Agent cord to be worn at graduation and a certificate of completion.
Student Service Leader Stole
Student service leaders that graduate from UNCP will receive a graduation stole for their service to CCE and our community. Stoles are presented to graduates the semester of their graduation.
