The 2024 University of North Carolina at Pembroke Alumni Board of Directors Application

Are you passionate about making a difference in the UNCP community? Do you want to play a vital role in shaping the future of our alma mater? We invite you to apply to serve on the UNCP Alumni Board of Directors!

We are seeking bright, creative, diverse, dedicated, and enthusiastic alumni who truly desire to support their alma mater through volunteer service, leadership, and positively engaging other alumni in the life of UNCP.

Timeline & Process:

  • The candidate application is due March 25, 2024 to be considered for membership beginning July 1, 2024.

  • Applications are submitted online to the Director of Alumni Affairs.
  • Application is reviewed by Director and forwarded to Nominating Committee.
  • The Nominating Committee shall recommend to the full Board a slate of Directors to serve for a term of two years beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2026 (with an option to renew) at the spring meeting of the Board.
  • A formal letter of acceptance or denial will be sent to the candidate.
  • Candidate must attend a board orientation prior to the next board meeting. Orientation will be conducted by the Director of Alumni Affairs.
