UNCP Educator Preparation Program Reports and Surveys
The UNCP Educator Preparation Program (EPP) has developed an assessment system for our educator preparation program. Assessment activities are conducted to provide the UNCP EPP with information needed so that we can improve our programs and prepare committed, collaborative and competent professional educators.
The UNCP EPP uses Taskstream (now known as Watermark) as an ePortfolio for candidates enrolled in our program. This ePortfolio system is designed as a place for students to display artifacts that are evaluated by faculty and demonstrate that the candidates have achieved the necessary knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become a successful teacher. Below is a table that outlines the basic structure for undergraduate ePortfolios. Advanced licensure, MAT, and School Administration licensure ePortfolios are arranged differently.
Below are a series of links to show teacher candidates the standards that are used to assess teacher candidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions.
