Hilary Beale graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in Great Britain, with a degree in American Studies
and International Relations in September, 2017.  Hilary studied as an international student at UNCP during the 2015-16
school year. She was enrolledin many terrorism classes at UNCP with Professor Robert McDonnell.

Dr. Renee Lamphere, assistant professor in the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department, and her freshman
seminar students organize and count food items for "The Hunger Games."  Each fall, students participate in this
competition, collecting non-perishablefood items for the campus food pantry.  Dr. Lamphere's students have collected 1,200 items.
